A panel of judges, comprised from the telecommunications community, awarded the product with the Silver honoree status based on originality, innovation, cost-effectiveness and positive impact on customers among other criteria.

The PPC Hybrid Fiber/Power Terminal with Overvoltage Protection is designed to distribute power and fiber connectivity for outdoor wireless networks while providing equipment protection from lightning strikes. The surge protection devices feature innovative electronic status monitoring and include a visual indicator window to easily detect a failure. In the case of a surge protection device failure, a module can easily be unplugged and replaced in the field.
