Pentair Announces Hydra-Stop Acquisition

Complementary Acquisition Expands Pentair’s Portfolio to Address Critical Water Issues for Growing Cities

Pentair plc (NYSE: PNR), a leader in helping the world sustainably move, improve and enjoy water, life’s most essential resource, today announced that it has completed the previously announced transaction to acquire Hydra-Stop LLC from Madison Industries for approximately $290 million, subject to customary adjustments. When adjusted for approximately $50 million of expected tax benefits, the net transaction value is approximately $240 million.

Hydra-Stop is a leading provider of specialty insertion valves, line stop fittings and installation equipment serving water utility service providers and municipalities throughout the United States. Hydra-Stop is expected to generate approximately $50 million in revenue in full year 2025 with an expected Return on Sales of approximately 30%.
