About Cabling Installation & Maintenance

Our mission: Bringing practical business and technical intelligence to today's structured cabling professionals

For more than 30 years, Cabling Installation & Maintenance has provided useful, practical information to professionals responsible for the specification, design, installation and management of structured cabling systems serving enterprise, data center and other environments. These professionals are challenged to stay informed of constantly evolving standards, system-design and installation approaches, product and system capabilities, technologies, as well as applications that rely on high-performance structured cabling systems. Our editors synthesize these complex issues into multiple information products. This portfolio of information products provides concrete detail that improves the efficiency of day-to-day operations, and equips cabling professionals with the perspective that enables strategic planning for networks’ optimum long-term performance.

Throughout our annual magazine, weekly email newsletters and 24/7/365 website, Cabling Installation & Maintenance digs into the essential topics our audience focuses on.

  • Design, Installation and Testing: We explain the bottom-up design of cabling systems, from case histories of actual projects to solutions for specific problems or aspects of the design process. We also look at specific installations using a case-history approach to highlight challenging problems, solutions and unique features. Additionally, we examine evolving test-and-measurement technologies and techniques designed to address the standards-governed and practical-use performance requirements of cabling systems.
  • Technology: We evaluate product innovations and technology trends as they impact a particular product class through interviews with manufacturers, installers and users, as well as contributed articles from subject-matter experts.
  • Data Center: Cabling Installation & Maintenance takes an in-depth look at design and installation workmanship issues as well as the unique technology being deployed specifically for data centers.
  • Physical Security: Focusing on the areas in which security and IT—and the infrastructure for both—interlock and overlap, we pay specific attention to Internet Protocol’s influence over the development of security applications.
  • Standards: Tracking the activities of North American and international standards-making organizations, we provide updates on specifications that are in-progress, looking forward to how they will affect cabling-system design and installation. We also produce articles explaining the practical aspects of designing and installing cabling systems in accordance with the specifications of established standards.

Kurv Launches KSLV: The First Silver ETF with Enhanced Income

Kurv Investment Management, a provider of tax-efficient, alternative strategies, today announced the launch of the Kurv Silver Enhanced Income ETF (CBOE BZX: KSLV). KSLV seeks to offer investors enhanced income while outperforming the price return of physical silver. KSLV primarily looks to generate monthly income through options strategies on Silver ETPs.

“The price of silver historically followed the price of gold, which has reached an all-time high as investors look to diversify risk and inflation hedges in portfolios,” said Howard Chan, founder and chief executive officer of Kurv Investment Management. “KSLV is designed to capture the price appreciation potential while generating tax-efficient income on a non-cashflow asset.”

“Along with Kurv’s gold strategy, KSLV extends Kurv’s mission to offer sophisticated investment products to the masses,” said Chan. “Our precious metals suite further enhances investors' goal to diversify their portfolio without sacrificing income generation capabilities.”

Important Information:

An investor should consider the investment objectives, risks, charges, and expenses of the Fund carefully before investing. To obtain a prospectus containing this and other information, please call 1-833-955-KURV (5878) or visit KurvInvest.com. Read the prospectus carefully before investing.

Investing in the Fund entails risk, including the loss of principal. The Fund is not a complete investment program and investors should review the risks associated with the Fund before investing. The Fund is an actively managed portfolio, and the portfolio managers will apply investment techniques and risk analyses that may not produce the desired result. There can be no guarantee that the Fund will meet its investment objective. The Fund is new with a limited operating history.

Fund Objective: The Fund seeks maximum total return. The Fund seeks to exceed the price return of physical silver by primarily investing under normal circumstances in derivative instruments on silver and physical silver-related exchange-traded products (ETPs), including physical silver-related exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and silver-related exchange-traded notes (ETNs). ETPs are not ‘40 Act products.

Fund Risks: The Fund may invest in silver and physical silver-related exchange-traded funds (ETFs), exchange-traded notes (ETNs) and derivatives on silver and physical silver-related ETFs. The price of silver may be volatile, and silver-related ETFs and derivatives may be highly sensitive to the price of silver. The price of physical silver can be significantly affected by international monetary and political developments such as currency devaluation or revaluation, central bank movements, economic and social conditions within a country, transactional or trade imbalances, or trade or currency restrictions between countries. Physical silver has sales commission, storage, insurance, and auditing expenses. No income is derived from holding physical silver, which is unlike securities that may pay dividends or make other current payments. Silver held in physical form (even in a segregated account) involves the risk of delay in obtaining the assets in the case of bankruptcy or insolvency of the custodian. This could impair the disposition of the assets under those circumstances. To the extent it holds physical silver, the Silver Fund is also subject to an increased risk of loss and expense in connection with the transportation of such assets to and from the Silver Fund’s custodian.

The Kurv Silver Enhanced Income ETF is distributed by Foreside Fund Services LLC, Member FINRA/SIPC. Foreside Fund Services LLC is not affiliated with Kurv Investment Management.
