Six Flags Parks Win Three Golden Ticket Awards for 2025

A total of 20 rides, attractions and live events recognized across the park network

Six Flags Entertainment Corporation (NYSE: FUN), North America’s largest regional amusement-resort operator, today announced it has earned three honors in Amusement Today’s annual Golden Ticket Awards (GTA).

Carowinds, which straddles the border of North Carolina and South Carolina, was awarded the highly coveted “Best Steel Coaster” for its giga coaster Fury 325, marking the 10th time it has won a Golden Ticket. Six Flags Fiesta Texas won “Best New Show” for The Voodoo Dolls, an enchanting song-and-dance that brought Big Easy magic to the Lone Star State. Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Los Angeles won the “Turnstile Award” for the massive makeover and bold new look that made waves with guests in 2025.

Presented annually, the prestigious GTA recognizes excellence in the amusement park industry. The awards are calculated from an international poll conducted by Amusement Today, an Arlington, Texas-based publication that covers amusement and water park news and trends. Winners were announced at a special event hosted at Carowinds over the weekend.
