Colin Yee, currently serving as head of corporate & financial operations, has been appointed by the company’s board of directors to serve as CFO, effective Aug. 15, 2022. Yee replaces Jeff McGonegal, who is retiring after 20 years with the company. McGonegal will continue to serve in the capacity of senior advisor, and will remain employed through the term of his employment agreement of Feb. 7, 2023; after that time, it is anticipated that he will enter into a consulting agreement with RIOT. Yee has extensive experience in corporate and financial functions, including risk management, information technology, human resources and financial planning; he has also previously served as CFO for three different companies.
