3rd Annual Hacker’s Ball Golf Tournament Raises $18K for First Responder Families

Hurst, Texas, USA - September 25, 2023 - Hurst-based non-profit Blue Family Fund is excited to announce the results from a fundraising event on Friday September 15, 2023.

The 3rd Annual Hacker's Ball attracted approximately 100 golfing enthusiast and committed 1st Responder supporters to the Iron Horse Golf Course for an afternoon of golf, games with raffle prizes and auction. The event presented by Blue Family Fund, Inc a 501c3 nonprofit raised $18K to benefit First Responder families.

"A big thank you goes out to all our sponsors and supporters," says Stacey Magovern, Co-Founder of Blue Family Fund. "It was a very fun event and we enjoyed sharing it with the community, all while supporting a great cause and bringing awareness to the needs of the families left behind after losing a First Responder."

Blue Family Fund is a 501c3 non-profit that provides scholarship opportunities and financial assistance to First Responder families in need. 100% of donations made to the Fund are donated directly to the families of fallen First Responders through scholarships or as aid.
