About Cabling Installation & Maintenance

Our mission: Bringing practical business and technical intelligence to today's structured cabling professionals

For more than 30 years, Cabling Installation & Maintenance has provided useful, practical information to professionals responsible for the specification, design, installation and management of structured cabling systems serving enterprise, data center and other environments. These professionals are challenged to stay informed of constantly evolving standards, system-design and installation approaches, product and system capabilities, technologies, as well as applications that rely on high-performance structured cabling systems. Our editors synthesize these complex issues into multiple information products. This portfolio of information products provides concrete detail that improves the efficiency of day-to-day operations, and equips cabling professionals with the perspective that enables strategic planning for networks’ optimum long-term performance.

Throughout our annual magazine, weekly email newsletters and 24/7/365 website, Cabling Installation & Maintenance digs into the essential topics our audience focuses on.

  • Design, Installation and Testing: We explain the bottom-up design of cabling systems, from case histories of actual projects to solutions for specific problems or aspects of the design process. We also look at specific installations using a case-history approach to highlight challenging problems, solutions and unique features. Additionally, we examine evolving test-and-measurement technologies and techniques designed to address the standards-governed and practical-use performance requirements of cabling systems.
  • Technology: We evaluate product innovations and technology trends as they impact a particular product class through interviews with manufacturers, installers and users, as well as contributed articles from subject-matter experts.
  • Data Center: Cabling Installation & Maintenance takes an in-depth look at design and installation workmanship issues as well as the unique technology being deployed specifically for data centers.
  • Physical Security: Focusing on the areas in which security and IT—and the infrastructure for both—interlock and overlap, we pay specific attention to Internet Protocol’s influence over the development of security applications.
  • Standards: Tracking the activities of North American and international standards-making organizations, we provide updates on specifications that are in-progress, looking forward to how they will affect cabling-system design and installation. We also produce articles explaining the practical aspects of designing and installing cabling systems in accordance with the specifications of established standards.

Eco-Energy Expansion: Bel Trading & Consulting Ltd’s Biomass Ventures in Thailand

By: Get News

Bel Trading & Consulting Ltd continues its ambitious projects in the field of green energy and, in addition to the solar power generation segment, participates in new renewable energy projects, specifically the production of electrical energy from locally sourced biomass. The potential of this direction is significant in the Asian market, including the Kingdom of Thailand. Many Asian countries have joined programs to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and plan to increase the share of renewable green energy sources as part of the National Energy Plan, presenting applied interest to investors in the energy sector due to special attractive conditions for local and foreign investors.

Bel Trading & Consulting Ltd is investing in the project for electricity generation at a special tariff from biomass. By utilizing local common biomaterials and wastes from the food and agriculture sectors, which are renewable resources, it is creating industrial-scale green electricity production. The main advantage of generating electricity from biomass is the special government support from the Thai government in the form of tax incentives and special tariffs to support renewable electricity producers.

Currently, a joint project where Bel Trading & Consulting Ltd acted as an investor and acquired a 40% stake in the local company Bio Green Energy 5 Co Ltd is in its final stage. This joint project is finalizing the construction of biomass-based electricity generating facilities in Chainat province.

Thanks to the participation of Bel Trading & Consulting Ltd in the project and the investments made, the construction of the renewable biofuel power station is successfully being completed, and commissioning and testing work is underway for the start of electricity generation. After the successful launch of this joint project, there are further plans for expanding biofuel electricity generation facilities in Thailand and building new power stations in this area of green electricity.

Bel Trading & Consulting Ltd's investments are often directed towards the renewable electricity generation sector and contribute to the global trend of transitioning to cleaner forms of energy, expanding the capacity of green electricity generation. The company is pleased to follow the principles of nature conservation and clean environment for future generations in its energy projects, both in Europe and in projects implemented in Asia.

The company is confident that the renewable energy generation market in Southeast Asia will be significantly expanded and very promising in the near future, with many new international investors already entering with their projects in the field of renewable energy and successfully implementing them. In addition to implementing biomass electricity generation projects, new projects for generating various types of renewable energy will be started soon.

The many years of experience of Bel Trading & Consulting Ltd in constructing and operating industrial solar photovoltaic power stations of various capacities and types allow it to successfully and quickly implement other alternative projects for generating electricity from other renewable sources.
