About the Author

Patrick Fleming, M.Div., L.C.S.W., C.S.A.T., is a retired psychotherapist and spiritual coach in private practice at Double Rainbow Counseling, Coaching, and Consulting in St. Louis, Missouri, with his wife, Suzanne Lauber-Fleming. He is the principal co-author of a trilogy on psycho-spiritual trauma recovery and has authored numerous articles on psychological, spiritual, recovery, and social issues for national and international publications.

As a therapist, Fleming specializes in treating abuse and trauma, sexual addiction, compulsivity, couples counseling, and integrating spirituality and psychology. Over a career spanning more than 30 years, he has served as a hospital chaplain, hospice counselor, and psychotherapist. He has led workshops internationally for survivors and professionals, and has worked extensively with Catholic clergy involved in abuse cases.
