Federal Sex Abuse Investigation and Trump Effect on Southern Baptist Convention Calls for Evangelical Day of Repentance

The Nation’s Leading Christ-based Counselor Announces the Second Year of Apostate Evangelical Deprogramming

Dallas, Texas Aug 24, 2022 (Issuewire.com) - Dallas, Texas August 23, 2022: The Southern Baptist Convention's (SBC) Christian 'Commission' has become clouded. The largest Protestant denomination in the nation is embroiled in a sex-abuse scandal now investigated by the Federal government. And along with other evangelical associations, their highly publicized relationship with Donald Trump cries for repentance. "The SBC is arguably the most resource endowed, renown Protestant organization in the world. But it also has a history with slavery, Jim Crow and misogyny among other issues. Presently, given the well-publicized sex abuse scandal, and destructive association caused by their relationship with Donald Trump, the only appropriate 'Biblical' response is repentance. While they observe the National Day of Prayer, a joint public confession of regret and a vow of a different direction is the great need."

According to DavidSon, both the sex abuse scandal, and the broader association of evangelicals with Donald Trump represents the greatest violations in the Church."

"Some of the biggest names and churches belonged to Trump's Evangelical Advisory Committee representing Churches across denominational lines (SBC well represented ). There was some claim that he was or became a born-again Christian (a brother in Christ). There is no confusion about First Corinthians, Chapter Five sins in the Bible. I invite anyone to read the chapter. It calls for shunning or disfellowshipping any 'brother' who is immoral (sexually), verbally abusive, and generally corrupt among other issues. They all know this or should know it. The evidence is publicly obvious, they have violated this requirement among others. The Biblical standard is not held to civil or criminal law. Offenses are based on the view of leaders in the Christian community who are innocent of the violations cited. Evangelicals call such an offense sin.

Sin is the same term they use for abortion and the LGBTQ community. Their continuing association with Trump is particularly corrosive internally, and continues with a dark trajectory. Every Trump offense or association (1/6/21, and now potential violations of the Espionage Act) without a repudiation of His conduct continues their violation ('...a little leaven affects the whole lump, 1 Corinthians. 5:6, This means the offense or offenses spreads among others')."

DavidSon continues, that the condition represents such a lack of wisdom and insight to lead and protect parishioners, the public must be aware. Some followers have been prosecuted for attacking the Capital. The ministry he leads, also continues to offer support for evangelicals who have been overtaken by the cult-like movement.
