WDF World Championships to be broadcasted on AYOZAT TV - AYOZAT STREAM

Largest Ever World Darts Championships | Finals held over 2nd to 10th December on AYOZAT | Lakeside World Darts Championships has been running since the mid-80s

London, England Nov 25, 2023 (Issuewire.com) - All the World Darts Federation's World Championships will be broadcasted on AYOZAT TV (SKY 186/AYOZAT 101) nationally in the UK and on AYOZAT STREAM worldwide (www.ayozat.com).

The full playing schedule has been confirmed for the 2023 WDF Lakeside World Darts Championships to be broadcasted from Saturday, December 2nd to Sunday, December 10th with 78 players will gracing the iconic Lakeside stage in the hope of becoming a WDF World Champion.

The 2023 WDF Lakeside World Championships will kick off at the home of world darts on December 2nd with England's Scott Marsh facing Polish teenager Sebastian Biaecki for the right to face top seed Andy Baetens in the second round.

James Richardson gets his second Lakeside campaign underway in the first round on Saturday evening, while the popular American Leonard Gates will face New Zealand debutant Brian Corbett on Sunday evening.

Beau Greaves will begin her title defence on Monday evening against either Lorraine Hyde or Laura Turner. That game is part of a stellar session also set to feature Men's No.1 seed Andy Baetens, the current England captain James Hurrell and 2022 World Masters finalist Barry Copeland.

2022 Men's Champion Neil Duff enters the tournament on Tuesday evening, facing either Moreno Blom or Gábor Takács. Joining 'The Duffman' in action that night will be 2006 World Champion Jelle Klaasen, three-time Lakeside finalist Deta Hedman and the 2022 Lakeside runner-up Thibault Tricole.

The tournament's opening weekend will feature 24 top tungsten tussles, with 16 Men and 8 Women progressing through to the second round.

The Men's Second Round will run through from Monday, December 4th to the first game of the evening session of Wednesday, December 6th. The Women's Second Round, meanwhile, has two games a day from Monday, December 4th through to Thursday, December 7th.

The Last 16 of the Men's tournament will be settled between December 6th and 7th, with the quarterfinals in the Men's and Women's Championships taking place on what is certain to be a dramatic Friday.

Saturday, December 9th will be 'Semi-Final Saturday', with the finalists in the Men's, Women's and Boys tournaments determined ahead of four World Champions being crowned on Sunday, December 10th.
