About Cabling Installation & Maintenance

Our mission: Bringing practical business and technical intelligence to today's structured cabling professionals

For more than 30 years, Cabling Installation & Maintenance has provided useful, practical information to professionals responsible for the specification, design, installation and management of structured cabling systems serving enterprise, data center and other environments. These professionals are challenged to stay informed of constantly evolving standards, system-design and installation approaches, product and system capabilities, technologies, as well as applications that rely on high-performance structured cabling systems. Our editors synthesize these complex issues into multiple information products. This portfolio of information products provides concrete detail that improves the efficiency of day-to-day operations, and equips cabling professionals with the perspective that enables strategic planning for networks’ optimum long-term performance.

Throughout our annual magazine, weekly email newsletters and 24/7/365 website, Cabling Installation & Maintenance digs into the essential topics our audience focuses on.

  • Design, Installation and Testing: We explain the bottom-up design of cabling systems, from case histories of actual projects to solutions for specific problems or aspects of the design process. We also look at specific installations using a case-history approach to highlight challenging problems, solutions and unique features. Additionally, we examine evolving test-and-measurement technologies and techniques designed to address the standards-governed and practical-use performance requirements of cabling systems.
  • Technology: We evaluate product innovations and technology trends as they impact a particular product class through interviews with manufacturers, installers and users, as well as contributed articles from subject-matter experts.
  • Data Center: Cabling Installation & Maintenance takes an in-depth look at design and installation workmanship issues as well as the unique technology being deployed specifically for data centers.
  • Physical Security: Focusing on the areas in which security and IT—and the infrastructure for both—interlock and overlap, we pay specific attention to Internet Protocol’s influence over the development of security applications.
  • Standards: Tracking the activities of North American and international standards-making organizations, we provide updates on specifications that are in-progress, looking forward to how they will affect cabling-system design and installation. We also produce articles explaining the practical aspects of designing and installing cabling systems in accordance with the specifications of established standards.

Grungo Law Announces Partnership with Our View, Expanding Its Support for People with Disabilities

Grungo Law

Cherry Hill, New JerseyGrungo Law is proud to announce that it has partnered with the non-profit organization, Our View. This partnership is a continuation of Grungo Law’s support for Build Jake’s Place and the Camden County New Jersey Miracle League. Our View is the new name of Build Jake’s Place, an organization that has helped rewrite the laws for providing accessible playgrounds throughout New Jersey.

Through this partnership with Our View, Grungo Law will help continue the legacy of Build Jake’s Place, supporting the building of inclusive playgrounds and advocating for individuals of all abilities. Grungo Law is providing key resources to support Our View’s programs, and to expand education, awareness, and change the tone of conversation about how society views individuals with disabilities in South Jersey and beyond.

Grungo Law will also continue to provide hands-on volunteering, marketing support, fundraising efforts, and help in organizing pre- and post-season celebrations for athletes and their families involved in the Camden County New Jersey Miracle League and other initiatives.

This partnership has expanded immensely with the assets Grungo Law has allocated within its partnership with the Philadelphia Phillies. During every successful manager’s challenge in the fan-favorite segment, “Grungo Law: What’s the Call?”, a donation is made to Our View and matched by the Phillies, doubling the impact to support inclusive play. In addition, Grungo Law has set aside 40 accessible tickets for Our View to distribute to members of the Miracle League, along with scheduled appearances of The Phillie Phanatic, Phillies Ball Girls and Bat Boys.

Through Our View, Grungo Law and the Philadelphia Phillies proudly support the Camden County New Jersey Miracle League with a shared commitment to creating unforgettable memories for the children and families involved.

Grungo Law’s Founder & CEO, Richard Grungo Jr., Esq., expressed excitement about the partnership:

“At Grungo Law, we are committed to making a meaningful impact in our community, and this partnership with Our View allows us to support an incredible group dedicated to providing fun, safe environments for those who traditionally have not had access to playgrounds and ballfields. Every child deserves a place to play and grow, and we have an obligation, as local community members, to step up and help when and where we can. We hope to make the experience and partnership even more special with the rebrand of Jake’s Place to Our View. I view this as more than a partnership—it’s a chance to help build memories and strengthen bonds within our community.”

Executive Director of Our View, Arthur Aston, shared the importance of this collaboration, stating:

“More than 1.3 million New Jersey residents and over 61 million people across the United States live with a disability. With the support of Grungo Law, Our View is ready to take our mission to the next level, expanding the reach of programs like the Camden County New Jersey Miracle

League and strengthening our advocacy work in the areas of disability awareness and inclusive play. This partnership will empower us to connect with more individuals, enhance our impact, and deliver the high-quality, innovative programs that our communities have come to expect.”

Grungo Law Attorney and Director of Grungo Gives, Christine Lafferty Esq., added:

“We believe in the power of community, and supporting Our View is a natural extension of our firm’s values. We look forward to collaborating on marketing and fundraising efforts to increase awareness for this incredible cause, and we are excited to be a part of the pre- and post-season celebrations that bring everyone together. It’s truly inspiring to see these children and adults thrive on the field.”
