About Cabling Installation & Maintenance

Our mission: Bringing practical business and technical intelligence to today's structured cabling professionals

For more than 30 years, Cabling Installation & Maintenance has provided useful, practical information to professionals responsible for the specification, design, installation and management of structured cabling systems serving enterprise, data center and other environments. These professionals are challenged to stay informed of constantly evolving standards, system-design and installation approaches, product and system capabilities, technologies, as well as applications that rely on high-performance structured cabling systems. Our editors synthesize these complex issues into multiple information products. This portfolio of information products provides concrete detail that improves the efficiency of day-to-day operations, and equips cabling professionals with the perspective that enables strategic planning for networks’ optimum long-term performance.

Throughout our annual magazine, weekly email newsletters and 24/7/365 website, Cabling Installation & Maintenance digs into the essential topics our audience focuses on.

  • Design, Installation and Testing: We explain the bottom-up design of cabling systems, from case histories of actual projects to solutions for specific problems or aspects of the design process. We also look at specific installations using a case-history approach to highlight challenging problems, solutions and unique features. Additionally, we examine evolving test-and-measurement technologies and techniques designed to address the standards-governed and practical-use performance requirements of cabling systems.
  • Technology: We evaluate product innovations and technology trends as they impact a particular product class through interviews with manufacturers, installers and users, as well as contributed articles from subject-matter experts.
  • Data Center: Cabling Installation & Maintenance takes an in-depth look at design and installation workmanship issues as well as the unique technology being deployed specifically for data centers.
  • Physical Security: Focusing on the areas in which security and IT—and the infrastructure for both—interlock and overlap, we pay specific attention to Internet Protocol’s influence over the development of security applications.
  • Standards: Tracking the activities of North American and international standards-making organizations, we provide updates on specifications that are in-progress, looking forward to how they will affect cabling-system design and installation. We also produce articles explaining the practical aspects of designing and installing cabling systems in accordance with the specifications of established standards.

NJ DUI Lawyer Rachel Kugel Releases Article on Conditional Licenses for New Jersey DUI/DWI Offenders

By: Magic PR

NJ DUI lawyer Rachel Kugel (https://thekugellawfirm.com/can-i-get-a-conditional-license-if-im-convicted-of-a-new-jersey-dwi-dui/) of the Kugel Law Firm has recently released an informative article on the availability of conditional licenses for individuals convicted of a DUI/DWI in New Jersey. The article, titled “Can I get a conditional license if I’m convicted of a New Jersey DWI/DUI?”, sheds light on the changes in the law and the availability of interlock licenses for first-time offenders.

As an experienced NJ DUI lawyer, Rachel Kugel understands the difficulties and confusion individuals face when dealing with DUI/DWI charges. She notes that while traditional conditional or hardship licenses are not available in New Jersey, changes to the law in 2019 have provided some flexibility for first-time offenders with a blood alcohol reading of less than 0.15.

The NJ DUI lawyer said that in such cases, offenders are allowed to install and maintain an ignition interlock device and obtain a special interlock license from the department of motor vehicles. This interlock license allows offenders to drive without any restrictions on time or place during the pendency of the installation requirement. Once the device is removed, offenders can go back to the motor vehicles and obtain their full regular license without any interlock requirement.

Rachel Kugel further emphasizes that getting the assistance of a knowledgeable NJ DUI lawyer can make all the difference in the outcome of a DUI/DWI case. She notes that her team of experienced DUI attorneys at Kugel Law Firm possess the required legal knowledge and skills to construct a robust legal defense and ensure the best possible result for each case.

According to Rachel Kugel, “We understand the complexities involved in DUI/DWI cases and the impact they can have on an individual’s life. Our team of experienced DUI attorneys at Kugel Law Firm is dedicated to providing clients with the necessary legal guidance and representation to help them navigate the legal process and achieve the best possible outcome.”

In addition to the availability of interlock licenses, the article also covers the installation and duration of ignition interlock devices for individuals convicted of a DUI/DWI in New Jersey.

For first-time offenders, the installation of the ignition interlock device is mandatory for a period of six (6) months to one (1) year upon the restoration of their driver’s license. However, if the offender’s blood alcohol content level is 0.15% or higher, they will be required to install the device for a mandatory period of six (6) months to one (1) year after their license has been restored. For second or subsequent offenses, the installation of the ignition interlock device is mandatory for the entirety of the license suspension period, as well as one (1) to three (3) years following license restoration.

The Kugel Law Firm encourages individuals facing DUI/DWI charges in New Jersey to seek the assistance of an experienced NJ DUI lawyer.
