Mission Viejo, California, United States, August 13, 2025 -- Matregenix Inc., a California-based nanofiber technology company, today announced it has been awarded a $2.039 million Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase II grant by the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR), part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH). This prestigious grant will support the advancement of Matregenix’s proprietary advanced tissue repair platform – specifically MatriNova™, an innovative amino acid-based membrane – for use in guided bone regeneration (GBR) procedures. The project will be carried out in collaboration with the University of Michigan School of Dentistry’s research group led by Professor Marco Bottino, building on an ongoing partnership established in 2021.
