Our editors synthesize these complex issues into multiple information products. This portfolio of information products provides concrete detail that improves the efficiency of day-to-day operations, and equips cabling professionals with the perspective that enables strategic planning for networks’ optimum long-term performance.

Throughout our annual magazine, weekly email newsletters and 24/7/365 website, Cabling Installation & Maintenance digs into the essential topics our audience focuses on.

  • Design, Installation and Testing: We explain the bottom-up design of cabling systems, from case histories of actual projects to solutions for specific problems or aspects of the design process. We also look at specific installations using a case-history approach to highlight challenging problems, solutions and unique features. Additionally, we examine evolving test-and-measurement technologies and techniques designed to address the standards-governed and practical-use performance requirements of cabling systems.
  • Technology: We evaluate product innovations and technology trends as they impact a particular product class through interviews with manufacturers, installers and users, as well as contributed articles from subject-matter experts.
  • Data Center: Cabling Installation & Maintenance takes an in-depth look at design and installation workmanship issues as well as the unique technology being deployed specifically for data centers.
  • Physical Security: Focusing on the areas in which security and IT—and the infrastructure for both—interlock and overlap, we pay specific attention to Internet Protocol’s influence over the development of security applications.
  • Standards: Tracking the activities of North American and international standards-making organizations, we provide updates on specifications that are in-progress, looking forward to how they will affect cabling-system design and installation. We also produce articles explaining the practical aspects of designing and installing cabling systems in accordance with the specifications of established standards.

TOKYO, JAPAN (MERXWIRE) -A Japanese animated film has broken another record! According to statistics from Kogyotsunami, the blockbuster anime “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle” surpassed 10 billion yen at the box office in just eight days after its release on July 18th, becoming the fastest Japanese film to reach this milestone, surpassing the 10-day record set by “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train” in 2020.

This highly anticipated opening installment in the trilogy has been surging since its opening weekend, achieving the best opening ever in its first three days. As of July 25th, the cumulative attendance reached 7,505,702, with box office revenue exceeding 10,518,050,000 yen. By July 27th, attendance had surpassed 9.1 million, with box office revenue exceeding 12.8 billion yen. After just two weeks of release, the film has leapt to 29th place in Japan’s all-time box office rankings, and its future growth is expected.

The box office performance of “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle” once again highlights the incredible appeal of Japanese animation in the global market. The top five films that broke the 10 billion yen mark the fastest were all Japanese animations: “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle” (8 days), “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train” (10 days), “Detective Conan: One-eyed Flashback” (19 days), “ONE PIECE FILM RED” (20 days), and “Detective Conan: The Million-dollar Pentagram” (22 days). This phenomenon not only demonstrates the deep passion of Japanese audiences for anime culture but also reflects the trend of Asian animated films gradually surpassing Western live-action blockbusters in the global market.

“Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” is adapted from Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump manga, a 23-volume series whose cumulative circulation (including digital editions) reached 220 million copies as of July 2025. The story revolves around the young boy Tanjirou’s journey to become a member of the Demon Slayer Corps to save his sister, Nezuko, who has transformed into a demon. The first theatrical release of 2020, “Mugen Train,” broke box office records in Japan, and the latest installment, “Infinity Castle,” surpassed its predecessor in both its opening weekend box office and the speed at which it exceeded 10 billion yen. Its total box office is expected to reach new heights, entering the top ten of Japan’s all-time box office.

While the global film industry struggles with Hollywood sequel and superhero fatigue, Japanese anime continues to captivate audiences with its powerful originality and emotional depth, captivating not only its home country but also Asian and international markets. This also proves once again that the “rise of Eastern animation” is no longer just a trend, but has become a new mainstream force in the global film industry.
