Josh Kesselman, Founder of RAW Rolling Papers, Announces $25,000 Donation to Freedom Grow

New York, New York--(Newsfile Corp. - December 13, 2024) - Josh Kesselman, founder of the company behind RAW Rolling Papers, has announced RAW Giving's $25,000 donation to Freedom Grow. RAW Giving is the name given to the philanthropic efforts of Josh Kesselman and HBI International. Freedom Grow is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to supporting individuals incarcerated for cannabis-related offenses. Its aim is to bring hope and support to those affected by the long-term impacts of cannabis incarceration and the War on Drugs.

Freedom Grow is a grassroots volunteer organization that provides essential resources such as commissary money, books, magazines, and newsletters to over 300 incarcerated individuals. In addition to this, the organization also grants special wishes such as sending birthday and holiday gifts to families of the incarcerated.

Josh Kesselman and RAW Giving's donation can contribute towards Freedom Grow's 'Free Edwin Rubis' Campaign. Edwin Rubis was convicted of a non-violent cannabis offense in the mid-1990s, and is currently serving a 40-year federal sentence. RAW Giving and Josh Kesselman's contribution can help in Freedom Grow's efforts to bring more attention to Edwin Rubis's freedom campaign.

In a statement released about the donation, Josh Kesselman said, "It's an honor to help in Freedom Grow's ongoing fight for reform and justice. We couldn't have done it without our RAWESOME community." This latest donation from RAW Giving underscores Kesselman's consistent commitment to social justice and reform in the cannabis space.
