Global competition gives craftspersons a shot at $25,000 and an advertorial in Make Magazine

DIY Hero™ is proud to announce that registration is officially open to crafters, builders, and life hackers who want to show off their creations and tell their story in an exclusive advertorial in Make Magazine. The winner will also take home $25,000. The DIY Hero Competition is free to enter and is open to any maker seeking recognition for their unique skills.

Registration is open at diyhero.org for a limited time, with voting beginning in early March.

Competitors will be guided through the competition by TV host Mark Bowe. Known for his bigger-than-life personality on the Magnolia Network show, Barnwood Builders, Bowe and his team specialize in the rescue and restoration of 18th- and 19th-century cabins and barns.
