A West Florida Vision Care Organization Welcomes New Optometrist To Practice

St. Petersburg, Fl, United States - 09-09-2022 (PR Distribution™) -

Dr. Dennis Ryczek is proud to welcome Dr. Anita Nguyen, optometrist, to Ryczek Eye Associates. A Sight360 Company. She will focus on routine eye care, prescribing eyeglasses, contact lens fittings and treating and managing medical eye conditions. Dr. Nguyen will begin seeing patients on Sept. 12th. 

Dr. Nguyen is a well-trained optometrist who served as a Resident Optometrist at Bay Pines Veterans Administration Medical Center (VAMC). Before that, she trained at the Malcolm Randall Veterans Administration Medical Center in Gainesville, FL and Southwest Vision Center in North Richland Hills, TX. She graduated Cum Laude from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. 

 “We are excited to have Dr. Nguyen as part of the team,” said Dr. Ryczek. “She is committed to providing excellent patient care, and she received additional training during her residency in primary care on ocular disease with an emphasis on low vision.”

Born and raised in Pinellas County, she attended Osceola High School in Seminole. She graduated from St. Petersburg College and the University of South Florida before leaving the area to attend optometry school. “I am thrilled to come home to practice,” said Dr. Nguyen. She is looking forward to working with her new patients. “I love educating patients about the eye. The eyes really are a window to the health of the entire human body.” 

Dr. Nguyen is also a member of several prestigious professional associations including the American Optometric Association, the Florida Optometric Association, and the Pinellas Optometric Association.
