Dr. Pamela Mills selected as Empowered Woman of the Year by IAOTP

Dr. Pamela A. M. Mills is an Esteemed Author and Philanthropist. She was recently selected to receive the Empowered Woman of the Year Award for 2023, given by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP). Dr. Mills is a well-known author and philanthropist who runs the board for Save a Dog, Save a Life. Dogs save lives not only in medically compromised situations but every day in keeping our airports free of drugs, our soldiers safe from mine bombs, our police and so much more. Dr. Mills mission for Save a dog Save a life is to continue to Accelerate the importance of our four legged friends and to stop the cruelty to animals forever.

She served 10 years on the board of SAVE - A Friend to Homeless Animals, a refuge for animals that has been in operation since 1941. She has devoted countless hours to the health and well-being of dogs and cats. "At Home In Princeton - The Art of Entertaining With Four Paws," her book, provides stories and "how-to" suggestions for hosting the perfect party. Included are party theme ideas and recipes that will please both your four-legged and two-legged friends.

Before dedicating her life as a Philanthropist, Dr. Mills is a retired, certified homeopathic physician and a Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician who has worked in both the UK and Canada. Pamela has been in the medical industry for over three decades and obtained her medical degree from Queen Margaret University's Department of Podiatric Medicine in Edinburgh, Scotland. Aside from her great medical career, her primary interest is philanthropy. She has been engaged in several charity endeavors, including establishing an orphanage for HIV-positive babies in South Africa. She also served on the boards of several esophageal cancer foundations in memory of her mother, who died of the disease.

Throughout her illustrious career, Dr. Mills has received numerous awards and accolades, been published in magazines and publications, and has been recognized internationally for her humanitarian work. In 2021, she was honored as the IAOTP's Top Philanthropist of the Year. She is being considered for a feature in TIP (Top Industry Professionals) Magazine in 2023 and the IAOTP's Lifetime Achievement Award. She will be recognized for her recent achievement at the IAOTP's Annual Awards Gala in December.

Looking back, Pamela attributes her success to her family's encouragement and staying passionate in all her endeavors. When not working, she enjoys entertaining at her home in Pennsylvania with her beloved dogs. For the future she hopes to continue to make a difference with her philanthropy work in honor of her late husband, who supported Dr. Mills in all her endeavors.
