About Cabling Installation & Maintenance

Our mission: Bringing practical business and technical intelligence to today's structured cabling professionals

For more than 30 years, Cabling Installation & Maintenance has provided useful, practical information to professionals responsible for the specification, design, installation and management of structured cabling systems serving enterprise, data center and other environments. These professionals are challenged to stay informed of constantly evolving standards, system-design and installation approaches, product and system capabilities, technologies, as well as applications that rely on high-performance structured cabling systems. Our editors synthesize these complex issues into multiple information products. This portfolio of information products provides concrete detail that improves the efficiency of day-to-day operations, and equips cabling professionals with the perspective that enables strategic planning for networks’ optimum long-term performance.

Throughout our annual magazine, weekly email newsletters and 24/7/365 website, Cabling Installation & Maintenance digs into the essential topics our audience focuses on.

  • Design, Installation and Testing: We explain the bottom-up design of cabling systems, from case histories of actual projects to solutions for specific problems or aspects of the design process. We also look at specific installations using a case-history approach to highlight challenging problems, solutions and unique features. Additionally, we examine evolving test-and-measurement technologies and techniques designed to address the standards-governed and practical-use performance requirements of cabling systems.
  • Technology: We evaluate product innovations and technology trends as they impact a particular product class through interviews with manufacturers, installers and users, as well as contributed articles from subject-matter experts.
  • Data Center: Cabling Installation & Maintenance takes an in-depth look at design and installation workmanship issues as well as the unique technology being deployed specifically for data centers.
  • Physical Security: Focusing on the areas in which security and IT—and the infrastructure for both—interlock and overlap, we pay specific attention to Internet Protocol’s influence over the development of security applications.
  • Standards: Tracking the activities of North American and international standards-making organizations, we provide updates on specifications that are in-progress, looking forward to how they will affect cabling-system design and installation. We also produce articles explaining the practical aspects of designing and installing cabling systems in accordance with the specifications of established standards.

Norwalk, CT Author Publishes Spirituality Book

By: PR Leap
(PRLeap.com) "His Name is Jesus", a new book by Miguel De La Cruz, has been released by Dorrance Publishing Co., Inc.

One holiday season, Pastor Sam shared a powerful retelling of the greatest story ever told, the story of a child born to save the world. His name is Jesus.

Pastor Sam is known as the "Pastor of Poems" for his unique storytelling style and poetic gifts. One of his most remarkable talents is having memorized all 27 books of the New Testament. He first shared his version of the gospel story in the summer of 1981 with a young man named Uri, and he's been telling it ever since.

A gifted storyteller inspired by deep faith, Pastor Sam believes the foundation of belief begins at home, with what he calls the "Domestic Church." His own story began with a sacred moment: when he was born, his father made the sign of the cross on his forehead using a tear of joy and offered a blessing in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. On Christmas of 1950, three of his father's friends brought symbolic gifts and a prayer for Samuel to receive the gift of words. That prayer was answered.

Today, Pastor Sam carries a clear mission: "Join me and serve God-we are called to serve." He encourages all to open the Gospels and encounter the holy words of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.

About the Author
Miguel De La Cruz is the author and storyteller behind the book "His Name is Jesus". Guided by faith and sacred tradition, Miguel was inspired by the Holy Spirit to bring unity to the message of the four Gospels and to present one continuous story of salvation.

With reverence for the teachings passed down to him, Miguel now shares this version to inspire and uplift others. Miguel believes faith is handed down by the faithful. From generation to generation, we proclaim the name of Jesus, the Son of the Father, who died for our sins.

"His Name is Jesus" is a 88-page paperback with a retail price of $13.00 (eBook $7.00). The ISBN is 979-8-88812-150-4. Published by Dorrance Publishing Co., Inc. of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
