About Cabling Installation & Maintenance

Our mission: Bringing practical business and technical intelligence to today's structured cabling professionals

For more than 30 years, Cabling Installation & Maintenance has provided useful, practical information to professionals responsible for the specification, design, installation and management of structured cabling systems serving enterprise, data center and other environments. These professionals are challenged to stay informed of constantly evolving standards, system-design and installation approaches, product and system capabilities, technologies, as well as applications that rely on high-performance structured cabling systems. Our editors synthesize these complex issues into multiple information products. This portfolio of information products provides concrete detail that improves the efficiency of day-to-day operations, and equips cabling professionals with the perspective that enables strategic planning for networks’ optimum long-term performance.

Throughout our annual magazine, weekly email newsletters and 24/7/365 website, Cabling Installation & Maintenance digs into the essential topics our audience focuses on.

  • Design, Installation and Testing: We explain the bottom-up design of cabling systems, from case histories of actual projects to solutions for specific problems or aspects of the design process. We also look at specific installations using a case-history approach to highlight challenging problems, solutions and unique features. Additionally, we examine evolving test-and-measurement technologies and techniques designed to address the standards-governed and practical-use performance requirements of cabling systems.
  • Technology: We evaluate product innovations and technology trends as they impact a particular product class through interviews with manufacturers, installers and users, as well as contributed articles from subject-matter experts.
  • Data Center: Cabling Installation & Maintenance takes an in-depth look at design and installation workmanship issues as well as the unique technology being deployed specifically for data centers.
  • Physical Security: Focusing on the areas in which security and IT—and the infrastructure for both—interlock and overlap, we pay specific attention to Internet Protocol’s influence over the development of security applications.
  • Standards: Tracking the activities of North American and international standards-making organizations, we provide updates on specifications that are in-progress, looking forward to how they will affect cabling-system design and installation. We also produce articles explaining the practical aspects of designing and installing cabling systems in accordance with the specifications of established standards.

RH7 Sports Taps the Brand Architect Behind Today's Top Athletes and Entertainers

By: PRLog
Michael Fletcher Named Director of Creative Development, Bringing His Cultural Lens and Storytelling Experience From Cact.Us Design Center to RH7's Rising Roster of Female Athletes.

NEW YORK - June 25, 2025 - PRLog -- RH7 Sports is proud to announce the addition of Michael Fletcher as its new Director of Creative Development, further strengthening the agency's commitment to delivering culturally resonant, athlete-led storytelling and branded partnerships with purpose.

Michael brings over a decade of experience at the intersection of sports, design, and culture — currently leading Travis Scott's Sneaker Program at the Cact.us Design Center, where he's shaped footwear storytelling, product narratives, and brand moments at the highest level of global influence.

Throughout his career, Michael has crafted campaigns and creative strategies for some of the most prominent brands and figures in sports and entertainment, including Nike, Adidas, Nick Chubb, Tyler Herro, Master P, A$AP Rocky, JuJu Smith-Schuster, Cam Thomas, Tyga, and Antoine Bethea, among others. His work spans visual identity, brand activations, merchandise, and story-driven design, consistently blending cultural relevance with strategic focus and creative intention.

Now at RH7, Michael will oversee visual strategy, brand development, and creative execution across athlete campaigns, digital storytelling, and partnership activations. From pitch decks and campaign rollouts to merch, media, and cultural moments, he'll shape how RH7 athletes show up creatively — online, within their sports, and in the world.

"Today's athletes aren't just competitors — they're creators, CEOs, and cultural forces," said Fletcher. "At RH7, I see an opportunity to help women athletes lead with creative power, not just performance. We're building something that speaks louder, lasts longer, and truly connects."

Michael is a multidisciplinary creative with expertise in print, merchandise, experiential, and digital design. His career encompasses sports, streetwear, and storytelling, with a narrative-first approach that adds depth and clarity to every brand or athlete touchpoint.

The announcement comes at a high-momentum moment for RH7, which represents a dynamic and expanding roster of elite female athletes. These women are not only top performers; they are also innovators, leaders, and forward-thinking voices that are advancing culture.

RH7's current roster includes:
  • Nicole Yeargin – Two-time Olympic Bronze Medalist, visual artist, and Nike partner
  • Lola Possick – NCAA fencing champion and Gen Z changemaker
  • Tonea Marshall – World-class hurdler and powerful advocate for women in sports
  • Kaylene Smikle – NCAA basketball star and cultural storyteller
As the Director of Creative Development, Michael Fletcher will be instrumental in shaping the next evolution of RH7 — from impactful campaigns to creative platforms that help athletes own their story, expand their reach, and influence the world.

Welcome to RH7, Michael. The story is just getting started.
