SONOMA COUNTY, Calif. - May 6, 2026 - PRLog -- This Bodega Bay surprise proposal created an unforgettable moment when a man proposed to his girlfriend at sunset's zenith on the dramatic bluffs of Duncan's Landing.

This photo wasn't captured by accident, though. To get this shot, the photographer coordinated the time and place that this out-of-state couple's proposal would happen.

To make sure the background and lighting were beautiful when he popped the question, the photographer meticulously planned when and where the proposal would take place using satellite photos of the parking area and the exact proposal spot to ensure everything went smoothly.

The result was the surprised, joyful expressions that were perfectly captured against the Pacific backdrop.
