Hartford, Connecticut, September 17, 2024 — Freed Marcroft Divorce & Family Law is honored to announce the promotion of two of their skilled attorneys, Brandy N. Thomas and Michael Jack Paris, to partner. Attorney Paris has been with the firm since 2022, and Attorney Thomas joined the team in 2019.

The demonstrative dedication, level of skill, previous experience, and foundational backgrounds of both individuals made the choice of partnership obvious to co-founding and co-managing attorneys, Kristen Marcroft and Meghan Freed. Both Thomas and Paris are successful mediators, communicators, litigators, and experienced family law attorneys, who are immensely dedicated to resolving the legal challenges their clients are facing with a strategy deeply rooted in the things that matter most to them.

Both attorneys are passionate about the field of law – family law in particular – and have been for some time. Attorney Thomas recalls feeling drawn to the profession of law as far back as elementary school, but truly found her calling while working in New York City law firms and in the United States House of Representatives as a legislative aide during her undergraduate years at Fordham University.

She finds deep meaning in guiding clients through what is often the most challenging times in their lives and helping them find happiness on the other side.
