The conference provide's networking, professional development, and best practices for those directly working (formally or informally, professionally or communally) in this unique historical segnment."We are so excited to bring Queer History South to Dallas," said local event co-chair Carl Parker. "Events like 'Archives for ALL, Y'all!' are critically important to the LGBTQ+ community, especially in helping preserve, protect, and pronounce are unique history, especially from a southern perspective where the largest number of gay, lesbian, and transgender people live in the United States - not in San Francisco or New York, but across the South."Dallas College - El Centro Campus hosts this year's event and includes a special historical and art installation entitled "The Dallas Way - faces of LGBTQ+ history."
