Recipients can flush the toilet forward (or back to its sender), or have it removed and returned to HumanKind. Full-sized toilets will be delivered to homes for a donation of $200, and 5-inch toilet-shaped planters to homes or offices for $50. All proceeds will support HumanKind's year-round programs and services, which include three homeless shelters, 155 low-income apartments, street outreach, and other basic needs programs. HumanKind Ministries serves more than 15,000 people experiencing poverty and homelessness through these programs every year and this winter has seen an unprecedented need in their Emergency Winter Shelters."The toilet is the ultimate symbol of basic needs," says HumanKind Ministries President and CEO LaTasha St. Arnault.
