This center is specifically designed to meet the educational needs of children aged 4 to 14 who require moderate to extensive support, offering Free and Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) in an environment tailored for students with significant behavioral challenges.
The Center for Behavior Change focuses on providing highly individualized, behavior-based and language development programs to help students overcome barriers that may hinder their success in traditional school settings. Its curriculum emphasizes basic language acquisition, complex social skill development, and teaching students the essential skills needed for lifelong learning and independence. This program is particularly beneficial for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or Intellectual Disabilities (ID) who may not have their needs adequately met in traditional public schools.

The center is led by Andrew McNally, M.S., BCBA, Director of Special Education Services, who brings over 18 years of experience in special education and behavior analysis. The team also includes a group of highly qualified Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and education specialists, ensuring that every student receives individualized attention and evidence-based interventions designed to support growth and success.
Beyond the Classroom: A Holistic Approach to Student and Family Support
The Center for Behavior Change operates as part of VBA®’s broader mission to empower children and their families by providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services in home, school, and community settings. VBA® has already established itself as a trusted partner to over 35 school districts across California, working collaboratively to provide a seamless support network for students and families.

One-on-One Interventionist Support: Over 240 skilled Interventionists and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) work closely with children to deliver personalized ABA therapy focused on developing language, social, and behavioral skills.
