An inquisitive young bison, Benny unwittingly wanders away from his mother and becomes lost. His mother seeks the help of his bird friend Lily to find him. She uses her ability to fly to see Benny safely home. Young readers, through curiosity and imagination, may find themselves one day in a similar situation to Benny. This book teaches them to be calm and wait for a safe resolution. It also shows the importance of being aware of your surroundings and to avoid wandering from safety.

About the Author
Rob Brown is a life-long resident of the Northern California community of Kelseyville. He is married to Angela and is a father and grandfather. He is a songwriter, musician, and author of children's books whose characters are inspired by his grandchildren.

About the Illustrator
Julianna Wagner is an illustrator, animal enthusiast, and flower fanatic. Her artwork features colorful characters painted in a mixed-media style with a cartoonish pop. When she's not drawing, she's traveling around Japan collecting inspiration and adventures.
