Allyson Nichols is an elementary library clerk whose daily interactions with young readers give her firsthand insight into the kinds of stories that spark imagination and delight. A lifelong book lover, Nichols is especially fond of the "Harry Potter" series, particularly the illustrated editions. When she's not immersed in children's literature, she creates stained glass art and volunteers at her local animal shelter. A Missouri native and newlywed, Nichols comes from a proud family of educators.
