HireRight Launches Brazil Entity, Strengthening Market Position in Latin America

Entry into Brazilian market expands support for employers hiring across Latin America

HireRight Holdings Corporation (NYSE: HRT) ("HireRight”), a leading provider of global background screening services and workforce solutions, is excited to announce the launch of its operational entity in Brazil, marking a significant milestone in its regional expansion strategy. With this move, HireRight aims to enhance its support for customers hiring in Brazil, as well as throughout Latin America.

With a population of 214 million people, the largest economy in Latin America, and a thriving hub of startups in HireRight’s core vertical of technology, Brazil has tremendous potential for growth in employment screening. HireRight’s new office is in the financial district of São Paulo, a decision-making hub for many businesses in Latin America where 60 percent of Fortune 100 companies have a local presence.

The expansion into Brazil follows the launch of HireRight’s Mexico subsidiary in 2021 and the acquisition of Inquiro Vitae in Argentina earlier this year. These strategic moves allow HireRight to extend its employment screening services beyond the multinational corporations already served to local small- and medium-sized businesses in the region, catering to their specific needs and requirements.

"We are thrilled to grow our Latin America footprint into Brazil to better serve our customers operating in this important market," said Guy Abramo, President and CEO of HireRight. "We recognize the value of local expertise when conducting employment screening and believe that our presence in São Paulo will help differentiate us from other global screening providers and pave the way for new business opportunities."

With its new operating entity in Brazil, HireRight aims to provide faster data to customers screening in Brazil through direct connections to local sources. It will also offer local fulfilment of verifications and customer support in Portuguese, to help drive accurate and efficient screening processes. Additionally, HireRight can invoice its customers in the local currency – the real (BRL) – providing a significant advantage to global customers with a presence in Brazil. With this expansion, HireRight is well-positioned to further strengthen its market position in Latin America, deliver exceptional local support, and foster mutually beneficial partnerships across the region.
