Empowering Voters: Meditate Vote at the Polls for a United America

By: Get News
Promoting Peace at the Polls is essential by us remaining at peace. Peace within is Peace at the Polls.

The Meditation Museum invites the public to Meditate The Vote, an inspiring gathering dedicated to conversation that will promote peace at the polls and supporting the freedom to vote peacefully—an essential right in America that is cherished across the world. In a time when tensions can run high, this event aims to foster an atmosphere of respect, dialogues, inclusion and to be humble enough to understand the different opinions of others.

The Meditate The Vote event will feature three dynamic speakers who bring diverse perspectives and wisdom on elections and what required internally when we vote.

• Dr. Jay Speights: Chaplain, award-winning author, producer, and Director of The New Seminary for Interfaith Studies in New York. A passionate community builder, Pastor Jay will share insights into fostering peace and understanding.

• Zainab Al Suwaij: Iraqi American activist and co-founder of the American Islamic Congress. Renowned for her powerful advocacy of women’s equality, civil and religious rights, and interfaith dialogue, Zainab will inspire us to embrace our shared responsibilities as global citizens.

• Rev. Sylvia Sumter: Senior Pastor of Unity of Washington, DC. Rev. Sylvia’s empowering message will encourage participants from all backgrounds to embrace their divine oneness and unite for the common good.

Our host, Sister Dr. Jenna, Director of the Meditation Museum, the host of the daily, The Next Normal Live Show aires Monday-Friday at 8am-8:30 EST, is also an inclusionist, and respected leader. She will guide attendees through the Meditate the Vote and encourage a peaceful voting process. Known for her commitment to bridging societal divides and building connections with global leaders, Sister Dr. Jenna’s voice is a beacon of inspiration; with her over 21 citywide projects in the metro area, peace tress planted on Capitol Hill and the Pentagon, her work is one of transformation and understanding what is needed in times that call us to reflect on who we are what we are becoming. The National Anthem produced by Sister Dr. Jenna

Join Us! Come be part of this unique moment to honor the sacred right to vote and strengthen the spirit of peace at the polls.
