FindHomelessPeople.org Announces Milestone 15,000 Homeless People Assisted

Volunteers from Find Homeless People Inc., a California-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, have now assisted more than 15,000 homeless and at-risk men, women, and children throughout Los Angeles County and Orange County since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

FindHomelessPeople.org does four on-site giveaways per month, helping an average of 119 people each weekend. Volunteers from Find Homeless People meet weekly for outreach missions where essential goods are delivered to homeless people that can’t access these products without our help.

Each person is provided essential goods, assessed for physical and mental health needs, and provided an online profile that helps family and friends locate them faster. Having a profile in FindHomelessPeople.org’s database helps homeless people reintegrate back into society – which is key to sustaining mental health and preventing suicide.

We plan to reach a practical, sustainable, long-term solution to homelessness by working directly with the State of California. Municipalities throughout Los Angeles County are currently considering implementing Find Homeless People’s solutions to California’s growing struggle against homelessness. You can help us spread the word using social media.

Fans of Find Homeless People’s outreach missions can follow the non-profit on Twitter @FindTheHomeless or by visiting FindHomelessPeople.org, hovering over About Us to find Our Gallery. If you would like to get involved, anyone 18 years or older with reliable transportation is encouraged to apply and join the Find Homeless People volunteer groups on-site in Los Angeles County or Orange County, California.

We need your help. Any donation to Find Homeless People is 100% tax-deductible and 100% of your gift goes directly to essential goods that our volunteers will deliver at Skid Row and other highly populated homeless areas in Los Angeles County and Orange County, California.
