Emerging Contemporary Fine Artist, Ty Nitz brought Pilsen creatives together for his inaugural art showcase on Friday, July 15 at 2100 South Morgan Street

CHICAGO - July 25, 2022 - PRLog -- Pilsen, Chicago-based contemporary fine artist Ty Nitz's artwork features bold artworks focusing on an exploration of color and texture, with a variety of oversized abstract works ranging in styles often showcasing multidimensional mixed-media pieces.

Nitz has lived and worked in Chicago for nearly two decades and moved to Pilsen during the Pandemic in 2020 when he quit his corporate job to pursue art full-time. He became infatuated by the unique art scene and purchased an old factory he's since been renovating and using as his studio headquarters.

"Pilsen has worn many different hats over the years, but one theme has remained consistent — a strong art scene," Nitz says. "I hope to spark a new wave of artists to feel welcome and inspired by hosting regular events intended to welcome artists from all walks of life to collaborate with one another."

On July 15, Ty hosted his inaugural event and art exhibit. It was  the first of a series of art events he plans to host in the Pilsen community with other local creatives.

Nitz's art studio is located near the venue at the historic Del Ray Tortilla Factory in the Chicago Art District of Pilsen. For more information please visit www.TyNitz.com or send via email: inquiries@tynitz.com.
