Alif becomes first fintech in the region to launch commission-free online transfers from Tajikistan to the U.S.
In partnership with Visa, the new service enables international remittances to U.S. bank accounts through the Alif mobile app

Alif Bank has launched a new feature in its mobile app that enables users to send commission-free transfers from Tajikistan to U.S. bank accounts. The launch was officially announced on alif.tj earlier this week. The service, launched in collaboration with Alif’s long-standing partner Visa, allows users to send funds online without visiting a branch or paying high fees.

Historically, sending money from Tajikistan to the U.S. was costly and time-consuming, often involving multiple intermediaries and significant transfer fees. The new feature offers a faster and more affordable solution for Tajik students studying abroad and families supporting relatives across borders. All transfers remain subject to standard currency-control regulations.
