Outlaws Horse Club Community Day
Founded in 1999 by Jody Lindsey, the Outlaw Horse Club was established to create a welcoming space for people who love horses and for families looking to bond over shared traditions. Over the past 25 years, the club has grown into more than just a horse-riding group—it has become a hub for community engagement, education, and family support.

The Outlaw Horse Club, a long-standing pillar of Fayetteville’s horse riding community, announced today the return of its highly anticipated Outlaw Community Day. The event will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at VFW Post 6018, 116 Chance Street, Fayetteville, NC 28301.

This year’s gathering promises to bring together families, friends, and neighbors for an afternoon filled with free activities, valuable community resources, and a celebration of Fayetteville’s vibrant spirit. The event is made possible through the continued support of the City of Fayetteville, which has awarded the Outlaw Horse Club a microgrant for the third time to expand its outreach.

A Legacy of Community and Horses

Founded in 1999 by Jody Lindsey, the Outlaw Horse Club was established to create a welcoming space for people who love horses and for families looking to bond over shared traditions. Over the past 25 years, the club has grown into more than just a horse-riding group—it has become a hub for community engagement, education, and family support.

“Community Day represents the very best of what the Outlaw Horse Club stands for,” said Camille Little a spokesperson for the organization. “It’s about uniting families, promoting wellness, and preserving our shared love for horses and fellowship.”

Free Health Resources and Screenings

In addition to horse-themed activities and entertainment, the October 4 event will offer free health resources to attendees. One of the highlights will be on-site mammogram screenings, an initiative designed to ensure community members have access to preventive health care. Several local health organizations and service providers will be present to share information, answer questions, and provide tools for healthier living.

By weaving together recreation and wellness, the Outlaw Horse Club aims to provide a holistic family day that not only entertains but also empowers attendees to take charge of their health.

Family Fun for All Ages

Outlaw Community Day will feature a range of activities designed to engage all members of the family. From educational sessions and interactive exhibits to live demonstrations and community partners sharing resources, the event ensures that both children and adults can take something meaningful away from the day.

Families can expect:

  • Horse-focused exhibits that honor the Outlaw Horse Club’s heritage.
  • Health and wellness booths, including free screenings and educational resources.
  • Community partner exhibits representing local organizations that serve families and children.
  • Family-friendly entertainment and opportunities to connect with neighbors.

Strengthening Community Bonds

The Outlaw Horse Club emphasizes that the heart of Community Day lies in connection. As Fayetteville continues to grow, events like these ensure that residents have a chance to gather, support one another, and celebrate their shared identity.

“This event is proof of what can happen when the community comes together,” said Tasqua Lindsey, the Clubs's Secretary added. “From local organizations donating their time to volunteers helping coordinate logistics, every part of Community Day reflects collaboration and care.”
