CANADA VISA FOR SWISS CITIZENS
Swiss citizens must apply for an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) when traveling to Canada. Canadian authorities introduced the eTA in 2015 to pre-screen foreign visitors to the country and speed up the application process. Swiss citizens must apply for a Canada eTA visa to enter Canada for tourism, business, transit or medical purposes. Swiss citizens, along with 57 other nationalities, are exempt from applying for a Canada visa when traveling there for short visits. However, if you are entering the country by air, you must apply for a Canadian ETA prior to departure. Swiss citizens can apply for a visa if they wish to visit Canada. However, not all Swiss people need a visa.
This is because short-term visitors benefit from the visa exemption. Applicants may enter Canada multiple times during the five-year period and may be granted a stay of up to six months for each trip. Once approved for Swiss citizens, the eTA is electronically linked to the applicant's passport. You can apply for an eTA online anywhere in the world using a desktop, tablet or mobile device. Authorization is quick and easy and is sent securely and electronically to the applicant's email address.

CANADA VISA FOR NORWEGIAN CITIZENS
Norwegian citizens traveling to Canada must obtain travel authorization prior to entering the country. This process has been greatly simplified since the Canadian government introduced the Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) system in 2016. Norwegian citizens are required to apply for a Canada eTA visa for general tourism, business, transit or short-term medical purposes.
All Norwegian travelers require a Canadian visa before legally entering the country. Norwegians planning to stay in Canada for up to 180 days can obtain a visa waiver using the simple online eTA application form. An approved eTA for Norway is a multiple-entry travel authorization that allows the holder a total stay of 6 months in Canada with each entry. Once issued, the Canadian electronic permit is automatically linked to the traveler's passport. A Canadian eTA is valid for five years or until the expiration of the associated passport, whichever comes first. It is now possible to obtain a Canada eVisa waiver from Norway exclusively online via the simple eTA application, eliminating the need to visit a Canadian Embassy or Consulate to apply for a travel authorization in person.
