Warsaw, Warsaw, Poland, 1st Feb 2026 – We’re excited to announce a new development update for Fearwoods, the upcoming co-op survival horror game coming to Steam. This latest milestone introduces improved visuals, smoother movement, redesigned weapons, and enhanced social features – alongside newly released in-game assets and screenshots.
New assets, including updated cover art and fresh screenshots, are now available in the official press kit folder.
Enhanced Visual Quality & World Exploration
The world of Fearwoods has received a significant visual upgrade. Terrain clarity and environmental detail have been improved, allowing players to better explore and appreciate the forest’s haunting atmosphere. A new early-era GPS system – set before the events of the first game – helps players navigate the terrain more naturally while maintaining tension.
Refined Movement & Responsiveness

The 3D pre-match lobby has been upgraded to deliver a stronger social experience. Improvements include better Steam avatar refreshing and spam invite prevention, making it easier and more reliable to add friends and join co-op sessions.
