Applications Now Open for Ferolyn Powell Leadership Award
MedtechWOMEN today announced the theme of its upcoming MedtechVISION 2025 Annual Conference, “Revolution not Evolution: Medtech’s Next Chapter”, signaling a bold call to action—urging the medtech industry to embrace disruptive thinking, reimagine healthcare delivery and reframe the role of improving outcomes for all.
The premier event created by MedtechWOMEN, this year’s MedtechVISION conference will be held on Tuesday, September 9, at the Rosewood Sand Hill in Menlo Park, Calif., with an option for virtual attendance via livestream. The in-person audience will be limited to 250 attendees.
“We are at a critical juncture in medtech,” said Yvonne Bokelman, Executive Director of MedtechWOMEN. “This year’s theme challenges us to demand innovative and disruptive strategies to excel in this new era and raise the bar for excellence in healthcare.”
The conference will feature an inspiring patient keynote by Maimah Karmo, President of Tigerlily Foundation, who will share her powerful personal journey of being diagnosed at age 32 with Stage 2 triple negative breast cancer, and her subsequent creation of Tigerlily to educate, empower and advocate for and support young women affected by breast cancer. She will also share how she leads efforts to end disparities and develop national and global health initiatives for women.
In the executive interview, Laura Mauri, M.D., M.Sc., Senior Vice President and Chief Scientific and Medical Officer at Medtronic, will offer her perspective on how she uses her experience and background to drive the integration of medical and scientific intelligence to inform business decisions and deliver a transformative approach to patient safety and engagement.
The MedtechVISION 2025 Planning Committee is co-chaired by two respected industry leaders: Sheila Shah, Managing Director and Partner at L.E.K. Consulting, and Angela Frederickson, Founder, Principal RAQA Consultant, SPARQ Compliance.
In conjunction with the conference, MedtechWOMEN is accepting nominations for the Ferolyn Powell Leadership Award, which honors outstanding leaders who exemplify integrity, innovation, mentorship, and a commitment to patient-centered progress.
