Founder and CEO Marie Swift Remains at the Helm as Rising Star Partner Jonny Swift Steps Into Elevated Leadership Role
Impact Communications, Inc. (Impact), an award-winning marketing and PR firm that has since 1993 exclusively served the financial services industry, is formally announcing that Jonny Swift has been appointed President of the firm. Swift, who has been with Impact for 15 years, previously served as Vice President and Senior Relationship Manager. The leadership team intentionally chose to make the announcement via the Future Proof Festival conference app and on social media earlier this month, signaling the firm’s commitment to community-first, digital communication.
Impact founder Marie Swift will remain in her role as CEO and chief visionary, leading strategic planning conversations for select clients, speaking, and making public appearances, while collaborating with Impact’s steering committees and client service teams. In his new role as President, Jonny Swift will lead day-to-day operations while continuing to manage key client relationships and drive innovation across Impact’s service offerings.
LEGACY OF SUCCESS
Mr. Swift brings a wealth of expertise to the presidency. Over his tenure with Impact, he has specialized in digital media strategy, public relations, content creation, and data-driven marketing insights. His extensive experience and advanced education, including a Master of Science in Predictive Data Analytics with a concentration in Marketing from DePaul University, equip him to lead the firm into its next phase of growth.
“This is an exciting time for Impact Communications, as we continue to build bench strength, add significant client accounts, and do incredibly meaningful work,” said Marie Swift, CEO of Impact Communications. “Jonny has for all intents and purposes been running the company the past few years as I was drawn to resolve elder-abuse, elder fraud, and elder health issues with loved ones in my life. Jonny has mastered our 3-D Framework – dedication to excellence, discernment in a deeply nuanced industry, and the drive to continually innovate and improve – and embodies ‘The Impact Way’, a set of work protocols and principles that have been honed for over 30 years. He’s been instrumental in shaping our firm’s digital strategy and strengthening client relationships. His leadership abilities, forward-thinking approach, and deep understanding of the industry will ensure that Impact remains at the forefront of PR and marketing innovation for financial professionals.”
VISION FOR THE FUTURE
Under the Swifts’ guidance, Impact Communications will continue to deliver integrated marketing and PR strategies, media relations, thought leadership programs, and omnichannel campaigns designed to help independent financial advisors and allied institutions enhance visibility and drive business results.
Newly-appointed president Jonny Swift expressed gratitude and excitement for the future: “I’m honored to step into this role and continue the incredible work our team has been doing for the past three decades. My goal is to build on the strong foundation established and to ensure that Impact Communications remains a trusted partner to our clients, the media, and strategic partners. We are navigating a rapidly evolving landscape. Together, we’ll keep innovating, adapting, and helping our clients achieve their goals. This has been my mother’s calling and life’s work for over three decades – and now I am happy to say it is mine as well.”
Marie Swift added: “This transition allows me to focus on the things I love most – being present for people and contributing to key conversations – while Jonny takes the lead on team building, operations, and service excellence. Our clients and team will benefit from this enhanced leadership structure as we continue to grow and evolve.”
