The sequel, Different Us! Jr. High School, follows the same group of friends as they transition into the daunting world of junior high. With a pact to stay united and lean on their faith, Maliyah, Jacob, Sarah, and Samson learn to face fears head-on. From navigating body image struggles to confronting stereotypes, they find that their differences are not weaknesses but stepping-stones to confidence and resilience.
Dr. Katryna King Evans is a multitalented author, certified Life Coach, and motivational speaker whose life’s work is dedicated to spreading hope and encouragement. She holds a doctorate in clinical psychology and proudly served as a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. A native of Alabama’s Gulf Coast, Dr. Evans draws inspiration from her beloved son and from her passion for uplifting both children and adults.
