The ERTC program was originally launched in 2020 to help business owners keep staff on the payroll throughout the pandemic. While the deadline has now passed for rebates on wages paid in 2020, employers can still claim up to $21,000 per employee in refunds for wages paid in 2021, with no upper limit on funding.
