Bringing Generations Together: P.S. 203Q Students to Perform Spring Concert

As part of Older Americans Month students from P.S. 203Q will perform a Spring Concert to foster intergenerational connections and celebrate the talents of its young musicians. The concert will take place on Sunday, May 19 at Chapin Home for the Aging.

QUEENS, NY -- As part of the Older Americans Month celebrations, Chapin Home for the Aging is thrilled to announce its upcoming event aimed at fostering intergenerational connections and celebrating the talents of young musicians from P.S. 203Q, The Oakland Gardens School in Queens.

On Sunday, May 19, residents of Chapin Home for the Aging will participate in a special Spring concert performed by the talented students of P.S. 203Q. This uplifting event will take place at 16501 Chapin Parkway, Jamaica Hills, NY.

Observed throughout the month of May, Older Americans Month highlights the significance of meaningful relationships and social connections for the health and well-being of older adults. This year’s OAM theme is Powered by Connection. Chapin Home for the Aging recognizes the profound impact that intergenerational connections have on enriching the lives of senior residents. This annual event embodies the spirit of Older Americans Month by promoting intergenerational understanding and appreciation.
