Cingari Family ShopRite, the family-owned and operated Connecticut-based company, announced today plans to renovate their Shippan store in Stamford, CT. Located at 200 Shippan Ave., the popular supermarket will remain open and accessible during the remodeling process, which is expected to be completed in November.

“We’re giving all our stores a contemporary look and feel that also includes providing new amenities and expanded offerings,” says Tom Cingari, President and CEO of Cingari Family ShopRite. “We’ve been listening to what our customers tell us they want to see in a shopping experience and incorporating those wishes into our floorplans. And the good news is, we’ll carry out this renovation with the least disruption possible, so customers are assured of the same quality of service they expect from us.”

In addition to fresh cosmetic changes like updated lighting, store décor, and eco-friendly display cases, the remodel will bring customers convenient new features like a brand-new seafood department, updated meat and produce departments, a new and expansive prepared foods and deli section, a new bakery department, a new sushi counter, and a colorful floral department.

The new bakery department will offer fresh-baked bread, cakes, pastries, and other baked goods. The sushi department will offer a variety of sushi rolls, sashimi, and other Japanese-inspired dishes.

Customers can also look forward to the updated lighting and new store décor, which will provide a fresh and modern look and feel. The improved floral department will offer a large assortment of fresh flowers and arrangements, servicing customers shopping for themselves or for loved ones.

“Our customers keep coming back for our high-quality items, top-notch customer care, and unrivaled sales,” says Christian Silva, store manager of Cingari Family ShopRite of Shippan Ave. “Our new store  features and renovations will reinforce our ranking as Stamford’s #1 best place to grocery shop.”
