Drug stocks edge higher; Epix falls for second day

BOSTON (MarketWatch) -- Drug stocks edged higher in morning trading Wednesday as the broader market rose modestly ahead of an expected announcement by regulators that a version of the "up-tick" trading rule will be reinstituted in an effort to control the short-selling of fragile stocks.
