Visionox showcases ViP+ advanced technology at SID DW 2026

-- SID DW 2026, the top global event in the display industry, was held in Los Angeles, USA from May 5th to 7th, local time. This professional event combining academic discussions and technological exhibitions, brought together the core players and professionals from the entire global display industry chain, and showcased the most cutting-edge innovations in the global display industry. Visionox presented multiple global first technologies and advanced ViP+ solutions at the exhibition, unlocking new possibilities in display technology.

Visionox mainly showcased the ViP technology, which was rated as one of the "Top Ten Breakthroughs in China's Display Industry” at the ICDT 2026 Conference. It breaks through the bottleneck of traditional FMM process, increasing the aperture ratio from 29% to 69% and achieving a pixel density of over 1700 ppi. Combined with the Tandem technology, it can achieve 4 times the brightness of or 6 times the lifespan of screens. This technology can be adapted for applications such as VR/AR, smart wearables, smartphones, tablets, laptops, and automotive displays, and related products have already been delivered to brand customers.

Visionox Co-president Yan Ruoyuan stated in the keynote speech at the exhibition, "The industrialization path of Visionox's ViP technology is very clear. Firstly, we took wearable and mobilephone products as a breakthrough point at the G6 production line stage. We have successfully delivered products to wearable brands and achieved a leap from technology verification to industrialization realization. We mainly developed medium-sized products and multiple-sized applications at the G8.6 production line stage, allowing the ViP technology to penetrate into more application fields.” Visionox also presented the ViP+ advanced technology, which can further unleash the potential of AMOLED in brightness, image quality, resolution, form, and interaction.

In addition to the ViP technology, Visionox also showcased the following exhibits.

AR field: Global First 3000 PPI Glass-based OLED/QLED AR Solution, achieving better display effects, high efficiency and long lifespan;

Wearable field: Hybrid Extremely-narrow Bezel Smart Wearable Solution, achieving a 1.95mm narrow bezel for the wearable module, and providing a better solution for the overall architecture of smart wearables.

Mobile phone field: Global First High-quality COE Flexible OLED Solution, achieving an extremely low reflectivity of less than 5%, reducing reflective interference during on-screen display; Highly-reliable Ultra-thin Foldable OLED Solution, achieving no obvious fold in the bending area and an increase in front impact performance of over 30%, and effectively enhancing the resistance to drop and impact of screens in daily use;

Laptop field: Ultra-flat Hybrid OLED Solution without CG or OCA, reducing thickness by 44% and weight by 24.4%. Compared to Rigid modules, it is thinner (less than 1mm) and lighter (less than 130g). It also achieves no strong interference or rainbow pattern;

Automotive display field: Global first Vehicle-mounted UDIR Flexible AMOLED Solution, implementing the under-screen cameras technology in vehicles, achieving interference-free perception and zero-flicker under infrared light, and helping intelligent cabins with non-intrusive interaction; Cold Bending Overall-black Dual-screen OLED Solution, using a 3.0mm medium-sized narrow bezel process, achieving overall black at off-screen display and no breakage at on-screen display;

Commercial display field: Mass-produced 135-inch P0.7 TFT-based Micro-LED Splicing Screen, using an AM driving architecture and realizing better eye protection without flicker. It achieves a visually seamless effect from the process of a physical seam of ≤ 0.1mm.

From the ultra-high-definition display of micro wearable devices, to the intelligent interaction for vehicle cabins, and to the large-scale commercial projection screens, Visionox has adopted a full-size and all-scenario innovation approach to accelerate the integration of display technology into the era of intelligence.
