VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA / ACCESS Newswire / January 13, 2026 / ScalePad today announced it has acquired Produce8 to advance its platform strategy by bringing deeper insight into how software is used across MSPs' client environments.
Produce8 was built on the belief that traditional IT visibility is incomplete without understanding how software is used in practice. As MSPs support increasingly complex environments and adopt more AI-enabled tools, deployment data alone does not provide the clarity needed to guide cost, risk, or renewal decisions.
"Produce8 brings two things that matter to ScalePad," said Chris Day, Founder and CEO of ScalePad. "A powerful usage-insight engine and a team that shares our belief that MSPs succeed when they lead with clarity and put customer success first. Together, they help bridge the gap between visibility and action."
As part of its roadmap, ScalePad plans to integrate Produce8's technology directly into its platform to deliver software usage insight at a greater scale. ScalePad will carry forward the core technology behind Produce8 and evolve it to help MSPs apply usage insight to practical decisions around licensing, cost optimization, risk management, the impact of AI, and long-term technology adoption. This expanded visibility is especially critical as AI adoption accelerates, helping MSPs address emerging shadow AI risks by balancing productivity, governance, and trust.
"Produce8 surfaced an important shift in how MSPs need to think about software visibility," said Joel Abramson, Managing Partner at Top Down Ventures. "ScalePad is well positioned to build on that foundation within its platform."
The acquisition reflects ScalePad's continued investment in expanding platform capabilities that help MSPs better support rapidly evolving client ecosystems with greater clarity and confidence.
