-- The parties will combine Planet’s Earth-observation data with AgileView’s fine-grained computer vision, synthetic data, and agentic AI capabilities

AgileView, a provider of advanced geospatial computer vision and long-tail agentic intelligence solutions, today announced that it has entered into a Master Services Agreement with Planet Labs PBC (NYSE: PL), a leading provider of daily data and insights about change on Earth.

The agreement will enable AgileView to build and deliver advanced analytics and AI-powered workflows using Planet Earth observation data. The companies will initially focus on opportunities where customers need to move beyond imagery access and broad object detection toward fine-grained, mission-relevant understanding of what is happening on the ground.

AgileView develops computer vision systems capable of detecting rare objects, distinguishing detailed object types, and identifying operational states and configurations that conventional models frequently miss. Its technology also transforms imagery-derived observations into structured data that can support historical analysis, pattern-of-life assessment, and agentic workflows.

AgileView will help Planet’s government and commercial customers derive more actionable intelligence from satellite imagery. Potential applications include maritime domain awareness, infrastructure monitoring, defense and intelligence analysis, supply-chain visibility, and other missions requiring persistent observation and rapid interpretation of change.

“Planet has built an extraordinary Earth observation capability, giving customers the ability to monitor change across the globe with unprecedented frequency,” said Avi Lindenbaum, Co-Founder and CEO of AgileView. “AgileView adds a specialized intelligence layer that can recognize difficult and operationally meaningful details within that imagery. Our goal is to help customers move from seeing change to understanding what it means, and ultimately to asking complex questions of the imagery and receiving structured, explainable answers.”

AgileView will also develop agentic geospatial workflows. These systems are designed to answer operational questions by coordinating imagery discovery, object detection, object-state analysis, historical review, and other analytical steps within a unified workflow.

“To meet modern security threats, the defense and intelligence community requires automated, near real-time insights,” commented Linds Panther, Director of Strategic Partnerships, Planet. “By feeding Planet's comprehensive imagery directly into AgileView’s AI platform, we are redefining what is possible in situational awareness. We are proud to work with AgileView to bring cutting-edge, AI-driven D&I solutions to the forefront of global security.
