(Adds details on Mexican stocks, updates prices) MEXICO CITY, April 26 (Reuters) - Latin American stocks rose on Thursday, helped by solid earnings and corporate news in Mexico and Brazil while the region's currencies edged back from recent losses. Mexico's S&P/BMV IPC stock index rose nearly 0.5 percent, helped by gains at Wal-Mart de Mexico, or Walmex, and bottler and retailer Fomento Economico Mexicano, or Femsa.
