-- Floydium, a 10-member Pink Floyd tribute band, has announced a special 50th anniversary tribute concert series beginning June 28th, 2025, at Mohawk College in Hamilton, Ontario. Following this inaugural performance, the band will continue touring across Ontario with shows in Meaford on September 26th, Brantford on September 27th, Ottawa on October 3rd, and Milton on October 11th.

The ensemble features a diverse lineup of experienced musicians dedicated to recreating Pink Floyd's distinctive sound. Kyle Layton Thomas, who has been writing music for 25 years, shares lead vocal duties with James Naro, a fixture in the Toronto music scene. Joseph Piilonen, a self-taught guitarist who discovered Pink Floyd after a personal loss, handles lead guitar responsibilities.
Leon Dadoun, with Floydium since 2016, performs on guitar and lapsteel, while Keiko Gutierrez, who joined in 2018 after studying Music Cognition at McMaster University, plays bass. Joel Dalton, a multi-instrumentalist and lifelong Pink Floyd fan, recreates Rick Wright's keyboard textures using organ, piano, and synthesizers.
The band's sound is further enhanced by Lucas Durand on saxophone, who captures the melancholic beauty of Pink Floyd's iconic saxophone parts. Vocalists Jenn Kee, who has toured Europe and North America with Brit Floyd and Classic Albums Live, and Jennifer Foster, a JUNO-nominated solo artist who has collaborated with artists like Barenaked Ladies and Ron Sexsmith, provide additional vocal depth. Greg Wilkinson, a seasoned musician, educator, and composer from Toronto, completes the lineup on drums and percussion.
Each member brings specific musical expertise to faithfully reproduce Pink Floyd's complex compositions. The band focuses on creating authentic performances that honor the original band's musical legacy while providing an immersive concert experience.
