SpaceX’s Falcon 9 Rocket Lights up Southern California Sky

SpaceX launches Falcon 9 and 22 Starlink satellites on Thursday, igniting the Southern California sky across Long Beach.
Space Exploration Technologies Corp., commonly known as SpaceX, has kicked off another busy week following Thursday’s third test flight of its Starship rocket and three
Falcon 9 missions
. In addition to this launch, the company lit up 22 Starlink satellites from Vandenberg Space Force Base on Monday. Falcon 9 was powered by a first-stage booster with tail number B1075 in the company’s fleet. This was the 10th time SpaceX launched this rocket, a commitment to never stop trying to meet success. However, eight minutes after the launch, the Rocket landed on SpaceX’s drone ship named “Of Course I Still Love You.” Falcon 9 was the 86th spacecraft to land on OCISLY. The company previously kicked off two and seven other Starlink missions for the US Space Development Agency.

Building on the success of the newly launched Falcon 9 mission, SpaceX, along with NASA, is planning to launch a Cargo Dragon from Space Launch Complex 40 [SLC-40] at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida, accelerating efforts for space exploration.  This will be the 30th time SpaceX has collaborated with NASA under a Commercial Resupply Services [CRS] contract.
