Airbnb introduced its new Airbnb Plus and Beyond by Airbnb services for the high end traveler. Airbnb Plus offers approximately 2,000 rentals in 13 cities that have met a 100-point quality checklist that includes a fully stocked kitchen with a clean refrigerator, an ironing board, and a bed with a comfortable mattress and soft, clean sheets and blankets. Beyond by Airbnb will launch in the late spring and focus on luxury rentals.
BMW must recall 11,700 vehicles worldwide that were made between 2012 and 2017. The wrong engine management software was installed in the 5-Series and 7-Series high-performance diesel cars that could alter harmful emissions during emissions tests. The German automaker has denied that the software error was an intentional effort to defeat emissions tests.
BB&T blamed an equipment malfunction for a service outage that froze all online banking, mobile app services and ATM services. Debit, credit and prepaid cards are fully functional. The outage impacted millions of customers in central North Carolina, Atlanta, Philadelphia and the Washington area.
