This unit is made of cast aluminum and is designed to hold electrical equipment up to 24” by 24” by 10.”
The EPL-AEB-24.24.10-8X1IN explosion proof enclosure is rated for use in Class I, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups B, C and D; and Class II, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups E, F and G hazardous locations. This unit is ideal for use in indoor and outdoor locations where flammable vapors, gases, or dusts may be present. This unit is made of cast aluminum with stainless-steel hinge and bolts and features a watertight gasket providing a NEMA 4X protection rating.
Larson Electronics’ explosion proof enclosure’s internal cavity measures 24” in length by 24” in width by 10” in height. A removable backplate for easy mounting of equipment outside of the enclosure is optional. This unit can be mounted via four ears, two on each side of the enclosure, with eight 1” NPT hubs, two on the south side, two on the east side, two on the west side and two on the north side. Suitable applications for this unit include industrial and commercial settings, indoor and outdoor use, and more.
